A foundation

The Wavex story begins in 1996, when Surinder Jangra laid the foundation of the family business in chemical manufacturing. The early work centred on industrial products, including silicone emulsions, textile emulsions and other specialised formulations.
Those years built an understanding of raw materials, processes and consistency. They also shaped the way the family thought about quality: as something that begins with the product itself.
Long before Wavex appeared on a car-care shelf, this experience was becoming its foundation. It gave the next generation a practical understanding of formulation and the confidence to take that knowledge into a new category.
A new direction.
The same product focus.
Wavex began its dedicated automotive-care journey in 2015. Founded by brothers Hitesh and Nitesh Jangra, the brand carried the family’s manufacturing knowledge into products that customers could experience directly, every time they cared for a vehicle.
The brothers brought complementary strengths to that journey. Hitesh’s focus on brand direction, customer understanding and growth worked alongside Nitesh’s involvement in product development, manufacturing and execution.
Their shared ambition was to build an Indian automotive-care brand with substance behind it. The family’s chemical background provided the starting point; the needs of enthusiasts and detailers gave the brand its direction.

Car care is a collection of different jobs. Washing away road grime, cleaning an interior, dressing a tyre and protecting a finish each ask something different of a product.
That is the thinking behind the Wavex range. Shampoos, cleaners, dressings, compounds, coatings and detailing solutions each have a role in the care process. Alongside them sit the brushes, towels, mitts and accessories that help bring the routine together.
Our approach centres on practical use: understanding the job, creating a product for it and helping customers make it part of their routine. Performance, usability and consistency remain the priorities, with the aim of earning confidence through repeated use.
